Getting started
Add ModShield and turn on protection in minutes.
1. Add the bot
Invite ModShield to your Discord server with the bot and applications.commands scopes (the invite link from the site or dashboard includes both). For Telegram, add the bot to your group as an admin with permission to delete messages and restrict members (supergroups for mute/jail).
2. Open the dashboard
Sign in at the dashboard with Discord, Telegram, or email. Every server you administer (and the bot is in) appears in the list. Group them into a team when you want to invite other mods.
3. Enable filters
Open a server β Settings. Start with Link filter and Flood filter, set a mod-log channel, then layer automod, raid, and jail as needed. Everything is off by default until you enable it.
Slash commands
Admins can also configure via Discord slash commands. If commands do not appear, re-invite the bot with the applications.commands scope. Global registration can take up to about an hour.
